Story Academy is a two-year exclusive full-time screenwriting course that provides personal guidance and instruction from some of the world's best-known screenwriters. At Story Academy, aspiring screenwriters can focus on what they came to do: write. During the course, they will have the opportunity to create and write up to three feature films, write a one-hour pilot episode for a self-developed drama series, write outlines for at least two episodes of a real external project for one of Sweden's biggest production companies, and work in a writing room to develop a miniseries with a showrunner. At the end of the two years, the screenwriters will have the chance to present their projects at a pitch day for some of Sweden's top production companies and film producers. The course will be held at Kustateljéns film studio in Fårösund, which has 1000m2 of studio space designed for professional film producers.
